Initiation in the Catholic Church

Everyone has a different story on how they became a Catholic. Whichever path one started on, there is a point at which one experiences a strong call to persevere in the direction of the faith.

Gospel Readings and Commentary

The Roman Catholic liturgical years are divided into three cycles for Sunday Mass readings. Each cycle focuses on a different Gospel, presenting a diverse scriptural experience over the three years.

Designing a Home Prayer Corner

Anyone can create a prayer corner in their home. It is a sacred space that invites us to lift our hearts in prayer and meditation. A prayer corner serves as a visual reminder that we are not alone in our spiritual pilgrimage.

Horizons of Faith: Sunday Gospel Reflections for Liturgical Year B

This publication includes a foreword describing my motivation to spread the Gospel, as well as a compilation of Gospel reflections for every Sunday of this liturgical year. There is much to gain by listening to the Word of God and allowing it to dwell in our soul.

When we may feel overwhelmed or alone, Jesus speaks and says, “…Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28-30). May we find peace in His words and rest with Him at our side.

Reflecting on the Gospel readings challenges us to develop our understanding and to read further about the philosophical and theological aspects of the Catholic Faith. It provides new insights and inspires us to continue our journey of evolving understanding.

Pilgrims of Hope: Sunday Gospel Reflections for Year C

The present volume is the is the second volume of Gospel Reflections published through Catholic Prayer Space. This website provides resources to facilitate prayer and meditation in the tradition of the Catholic Church.

Volume I, entitled “Horizons of Faith” (2024), contains gospel reflections for the liturgical .calendar of year B, the Gospel according to Mark. Like Volume I, Volume II contains weekly reflections to ponder the message of the Word of God.

Much has changed since the publication of Volume I, “Horizons of Faith.” Yet, the basics of our Catholic faith tradition have remained the same. Perhaps, their significance can be appreciated even more considering the recent world developments.
